Micheal has a big house in Dresden and since 2000 he´s been doing house concerts almost every month. The concerts take place in the livingroom, in the garden or at the foot of the stairs in the big hall, and they are always well attended. The drinks are very cheap, but the audience are urged to tip the musicians generously when the hat goes around in the end, and this donation-based economy has been working for 18 years now. Musicians from all over the world have stopped by Michaels house in Dresden, and we can really understand why - It’s founded on a genuine love for music and people.
During the last 3 years we’ve seen many places like this in Germany - all it takes is a livingroom and a person who wants to bring some culture to the city.
